Maintaining accurate customer records allows you to issue invoices, track purchases over time and build relationships with repeat buyers. The ERP also includes a default <em data-start=\"279\" data-end=\"299\">Anonymous Customer<\/em> for walk\u2011in sales where customer details aren\u2019t needed.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div data-particle_enable=\"false\" data-particle-mobile-disabled=\"false\" class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-84fddab e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"84fddab\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1a1637c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1a1637c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Viewing Customers<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-80b3210 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"80b3210\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li data-start=\"378\" data-end=\"662\"><p data-start=\"380\" data-end=\"662\">Navigate to Customers in the left navigation bar to open the Customers Management page. A table lists all customers with columns for Name, Phone, Email, Address, Created By, Created At and Actions. Use the search bar to filter by name.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"663\" data-end=\"944\"><p data-start=\"665\" data-end=\"944\">The list typically includes a default Anonymous Customer, created automatically when you set up a new business. This customer has no contact details and is used for quick cash sales or invoices when the buyer doesn\u2019t provide information.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div data-particle_enable=\"false\" data-particle-mobile-disabled=\"false\" class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ccfbb43 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"ccfbb43\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-333adc6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"333adc6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Creating a New Customer<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ca0a866 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ca0a866\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"973\" data-end=\"1056\">You can add customers either from the Customers module or on the fly during a sale.<\/p><h4 data-start=\"1058\" data-end=\"1087\">From Customers Management<\/h4><ol data-start=\"1088\" data-end=\"1588\"><li data-start=\"1088\" data-end=\"1222\"><p data-start=\"1091\" data-end=\"1222\">Click New Customer on the Customers Management page. A Create Customer modal appears.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1223\" data-end=\"1484\"><p data-start=\"1226\" data-end=\"1254\">Enter the following details:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1258\" data-end=\"1484\"><li data-start=\"1258\" data-end=\"1320\"><p data-start=\"1260\" data-end=\"1320\">Name (required) \u2013 full name of the customer or business.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1324\" data-end=\"1484\"><p data-start=\"1326\" data-end=\"1484\">Email, Phone Number, Street, City, Country, Zip Code \u2013 all optional; provide as much as you know.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li data-start=\"1485\" data-end=\"1588\"><p data-start=\"1488\" data-end=\"1588\">Click Create to save the customer. They will now be selectable in POS, Quick Sale and Invoices.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div data-particle_enable=\"false\" data-particle-mobile-disabled=\"false\" class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7185399 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"7185399\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-aca2e39 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"aca2e39\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">On\u2011the\u2011Fly During a Sale or Invoice<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-eb84266 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"eb84266\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In POS, Quick Sale or Invoice creation, the customer dropdown includes an Add New Customer option. Selecting this opens a simplified customer form with Name, Phone and Email fields. After you click Add Customer, the new record is saved and automatically assigned to the sale. This avoids leaving the sales screen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div data-particle_enable=\"false\" data-particle-mobile-disabled=\"false\" class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f30dfa4 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"f30dfa4\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-472a929 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"472a929\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Editing and Deleting Customers<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a974363 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a974363\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In the Customers table, the Actions column shows icons to edit or delete a record. Clicking the pencil icon opens the Edit Customer dialog, where you can update any details; click Update to save. Deleting a customer removes them from the list, but it does not affect past sales records.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div data-particle_enable=\"false\" data-particle-mobile-disabled=\"false\" class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ca4eafe e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"ca4eafe\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-96af00c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"96af00c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Default Anonymous Customer<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cf3fa72 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cf3fa72\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li data-start=\"2363\" data-end=\"2627\"><p data-start=\"2365\" data-end=\"2627\">The Anonymous Customer record is included with every business and cannot be renamed. Use it for walk\u2011in or cash\u2011and\u2011carry sales where collecting personal information isn\u2019t necessary. Selecting this customer allows you to complete a sale or invoice quickly.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2628\" data-end=\"2839\"><p data-start=\"2630\" data-end=\"2839\">Because the anonymous customer lacks contact details, receipts and invoices will not display a name or address. For repeat customers or situations where you need to follow up, create a named customer instead.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div data-particle_enable=\"false\" data-particle-mobile-disabled=\"false\" class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-097a9ce e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"097a9ce\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-485feb5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"485feb5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Where Customers Are Used<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-86dc098 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"86dc098\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li data-start=\"2869\" data-end=\"3105\"><p data-start=\"2871\" data-end=\"3105\">POS &amp; Quick Sale \u2013 You must select a customer before confirming payment. Use the dropdown to choose an existing customer or add a new one on the fly. The Anonymous Customer is often the default choice for quick transactions.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3106\" data-end=\"3258\"><p data-start=\"3108\" data-end=\"3258\">Invoices \u2013 Each invoice requires a customer in the Bill To section. Selecting a customer fills in their saved contact details on the invoice.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3259\" data-end=\"3433\"><p data-start=\"3261\" data-end=\"3433\">Orders &amp; Reports \u2013 Customer names appear in order histories and sales reports. Detailed information supports better customer service and marketing.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3598\" data-end=\"3775\"><p data-start=\"3600\" data-end=\"3775\">Use the Anonymous Customer only when you genuinely don\u2019t need to capture buyer data.
